Is your district moving away from using Flash? Adobe recently announced they will stop supporting the Flash plug-in entirely by December 31, 2020.

As of August 2018, teachers and students will be presented with an option to use with or without Adobe Flash. At login, select Quaver Street to access the classic experience and follow the prompts in your browser to allow Flash. Or select the Quaver Dashboard to continue to the new experience without Flash.

Which experience should you choose?

With Flash

Users will be taken to the Quaver Street, where they can access all of Quaver’s World in Flash. The Teacher or Student tab will load all teaching resources and assigned student resources. Teachers will have access to Quaver’s Classic Creatives and Creative Lite applications, simplified versions of QBackBeat, QComposer, and QGrooves.

Without Flash

Users will be taken directly to their Teacher or Student Dashboard, skipping the Quaver Street, to find all teaching resources and assigned student resources accessible on any device, iOS included. At this time, this experience does not include Quaver’s World apps, games, or contests and features Creative Lite applications, simplified versions of QBackBeat, QComposer, and QGrooves.

The Quaver team is working to translate remaining student resources out of Flash by August 2019. Learn more about each experience here.

What if I change my mind and want to access Flash content?

If you change your mind, and want to access Flash content, you can also revisit the decision page to revert to the classic Flash experience. Simply click the “Click to Access QuaverMusic with Adobe Flash” button located underneath the Teacher Dashboard. This also works if you want to change from with Flash to without Flash.
